K.P. Yohannan Visits GFA’s Work in Africa

In May, K.P. Yohannan (Metropolitan Yohan) visited Rwanda to witness and participate firsthand in GFA World’s expanding ministry. During the visit, he joined the Africa team to visit several communities and marketplaces, distributing Gospel tracts and sharing Christ’s love. People in Rwanda are very open to hearing this Good News and responded with gladness.

While there, Yohannan experienced local transportation, including a bicycle taxi. This mode of transit requires the cyclist to transport passengers on a seat over the back wheel of his bicycle. For this hard work of ferrying people all day long, the driver may earn $2. Such meager wages are common in this area, which is an area filled with need.

Yohannan also visited the 325 children in one region who are now enrolled in GFA World’s Child Sponsorship Program. Through this program, these children will receive a better education and be on the path for a brighter future. God is using GFA World to bring help and hope to Rwanda.
